I'm back home after a boozy weekend in Edinburgh with two of my favourite girls.
A and I touched down on Friday afternoon positively parched. Mum grabbed the glasses, I poured the gin and a spot of shopping later, the weekend officially began!
We sat in our fluffy robes chattering away about clothes and boys until it was time to get ready. We were heading to my favourite restaurant for supper, a candle lit crack in the wall called Maison Bleue, which is owned by a close family friend.
I fixed Mum's make up whilst A ran about the house searching for handbags and tights. I caught her doing a little online shopping and sent her upstairs nickety split.
I may or may not have pinched her glass of wine in the process.
We hopped in the car, grabbed C on the way and strutted into town.

We were greeted with champagne and beautiful menus by candlelight.
Before being led to our table where we giggled and picked our starters.
I ordered Booreks à l'Algéroise (spiced mince beef in filo pastry).
Which was out of this world!
And the girls went for spiced calamari.
The starters were fresh and delicious and the perfect intro to our mains.
We had the slow cooked lamb tagine with ras el hanout and preserved lemons. The chickpeas were delicious and fragrant and the lamb just fell off the bone.
The seafood gumbo with chorizo and shrimp rice.
And the most succulent venison you've ever tasted.
We finished the night with ice cold Baileys and an incredible amount of laughter.
Before being whisked away for more champagne with Dean, the owner, & his pals.
Girls night never tasted so good.
Thank you to my gorgeous mum for such a lovely night!
You all look gorgeous and looks like a fabulous girlie evening! My favourite kind!
